About the Fulfilment Manager job
You will take ownership of the company's WMS, managing the successful organisation, picking, packing and fulfilment operation of the goods direct to consumer, retail and internationally.
Key tasks
· Liaising with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, consumers, production teams and our customer service team.
- The efficient running of the site warehouse functions, including fulfilment staff management, stock control and goods in/out.
- Ensuring product storage and handling complies with food safety and quality policies & procedures.
- Rota planning and managing supervisors, team leaders and operators to maintain pick, pack and despatch schedules and frequency, achieving operational and quality KPIs.
- Supervise and train new staff communicating competency and performance to company’s Leadership Team.
- Managing and maintaining companies OMS & ERP systems, ensuring the correct recording of inbound and outbound goods and stock counts alongside resource planning, working on systemisation and automation where possible.
About You
- Previous experience in a warehouse-related supervisor/management position, managing and maintaining OMS, WMS, ERP systems together with experience in stock management and forecasting.
- Experience in food manufacturing is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to lead and work well as part of a progressive and diligent team together with excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Forklift truck license.
- Familiarity with a web/app-based rota planning solution, and competency in maintaining and developing it.
- An enthusiastic and proactive approach to work with an ambitious desire to progress the business.
