In connection with an exciting period of change and growth of the business we are looking for candidates for the position of Manufacturing Excellence Change Agent.
About the Job
As the Manufacturing Excellence Change Manager at Trelleborg Sealing Solutions Bridgwater (TSSB), you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our manufacturing operations. You will be reporting directly to the Operations Manager with a dotted line to the Manufacturing Excellence Director.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Leading and enhancing the Manufacturing Excellence program.
- Providing crucial support to the Operations Manager and Steering Committee for Beyond Budget Planning and project identification, prioritization, selection, and reporting.
- Collaborating with Project Sponsors and Project Managers on project identification, prioritization, selection, chartering, valuation, and reporting.
- Lead process improvement projects through the disciplined use of Manufacturing Excellence tools and techniques.
- Identifying and sharing best practices within the organization.
Tasks and responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Utilize Exact Tracker for tracking and reporting ME Cost Savings projects.
- Employ CI Roadmap for tracking and reporting strategic projects with longer-term benefits.
- Conduct yearly Value Stream Mapping (VSM) on-site and create detailed project plans based on the findings.
- Follow ME-Maturity Assessment principles to drive progress in collaboration with the ME Project Director and local General Manager.

About the Ideal Candidate
We're looking for candidates with:
- A desirable technical/engineering or manufacturing qualification.
- Previous experience in Lean manufacturing.
- Experience with both project and portfolio management.
- Profound management experience.

Geography and Travel: This role is based in Bridgwater, with some remote work opportunities. You can expect to travel for approximately 5-20 days per year to other UK and overseas sites. Candidates must have proof of the right to work in the UK.
