Additive Manufacturing Engineer

Reporting to the ELIP EUC Innovation Product Manager, you will be responsible from the analysis to the technical implementation of additive manufacturing principles. We are looking for a recent graduate with knowledge in the areas of additive manufacturing, metallurgy (powder), dry pressing, sintering and powder systems. Your responsibilities

• Apply Design for Additive Manufacturing (DFAM) principles
• Transfer the 3D design part to magic software to create AM printing file, coordinate printing parameters from supplier and optimize and development inhouse for material
• Partner with manufacturing teams to identify AM opportunities and complete designs, that maximize the benefits of using Additive Manufacturing while negotiating tolerances and other capabilities of the technology
• Prepare presentations and present design concepts, ideas, and test results to internal and external customers.
• Support procurement efforts in correlation with overall project deadlines.
• Provide “hands on” assistance and support to the manufacturing team

Your background

• MSc student of mechanical and manufacturing engineering, advanced mechanical engineering or additive manufacturing and 3D printing
• Knowledge in the field of additive manufacturing required
• Knowledge in the field of process within product life cycle required
• Excellent communication & presentation skills
