The Manufacturing Engineer is a key role within our busy Manufacturing Engineering team and will plan, set up, modify, optimise and continuously improve all manufacturing assembly processes. They will ensure processes are safe, efficient and able to produce products to suitability quality standard at competitive cost. Other key duties include;
- Support short and long-term plan industrial plan to achieve flexible and efficient capacity solutions.
- Support the selection, justification, acquisition and commissioning of new equipment for production and/ or inspection process including implementation.
- Investigate, assess and communicate the causes of non-conformance including the raising and approval of appropriate rework and/ or rejection documents.
- Liaise with design engineering teams to review the manufacturability of new products and engineering documentation prior to transitioning of new projects into manufacturing.
- Support the transitioning of new products into manufacturing, overseeing first builds and the coordination of information capturing and improvements as necessary.
- Updating of SAP part and BOM data
- Respond to daily manufacturing issues and problems, assisting in the rapid implementation of problem solving methods and necessary countermeasures
- Review area layouts of assembly line to support workflow optimization
- Plan and design, provide and determine how to suitably maintain: machinery, tooling and equipment needed in the manufacture of our products
Experience and Qualifications
· Degree in Industrial/ Manufacturing Engineering or other relevant technical qualification
· Relevant work experience in a similar fabrication environment
· Evidence of supporting engineering projects and manufacturing processes to save both time and money whilst adhering to safety and quality standard
· Proficient IT Skills including Microsoft Office
· Fluent in English
· Passion for Safety and Quality

Salary: £26,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
