Here at Mercedes AMG High Performance Powertrains, based at our Technology Centre in Brixworth Northamptonshire, we are pleased to announce the launch of our Academy programme.
As part of this we are looking to fill a number of temporary vacancies, which will help us towards our 2024 F1 World Championship campaign in Manufacturing.
We have structured the roles to be entry level positions and they are therefore a great opportunity for the successful candidates to gain 12 months of paid work experience in a world class environment and multiple F1 World Championship winning team in our manufacturing department. You'll be working closely with CNC Machinest and Sub Assemblers and learning about the processes that go into manufacturing a Formula 1 power unit.
Therefore these roles are ideal for anyone wanting a career change or looking for an opportunity to gain experience within F1.
We will be offering the following:
· 12 months paid work experience, and success in this role could lead to an apprenticeship with us
· £23,500 annual salary
· 36 days holiday per year (we work bank holidays)
· Relevant on the job training that will allow applicants to build their transferable skills
We are looking for positive individuals who can work well in a team, and who have a good work ethic. A basic level of English and Math’s is also required, ideally GCSE L4 or above.
