The Role
As part of the Engineering team, the role of Manual QA is to ensure we continue to deliver high quality products.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Review product specifications and technical documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
Identify, record, document and track bugs
Perform thorough regression testing
Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
Ability to identify risks and escalate issues
Take ownership of work
Be comfortable working in a multidisciplinary team of developers and QA
Contribute to the growth of a dynamic team and influence all aspects of the software engineering processes as we scale
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, processes and working practices, including those on Data Protection, Equal Opportunities and Health and Safety, in every aspect of your work.

Essential Criteria
- 2+ years experience as a manual QA on a commercial product
- A keen eye for detail
- Strong analytical skills
- Great problem solving skills
- Experience mentoring more junior colleagues
Desirable Criteria
- API testing (Postman or similar)
- Databases (we use Postgresql, but any SQL is desirable)
- Agile methodology
- Azure DevOps
