We’ve got an exciting opportunity to join our EMEIA Tax Centre (ETC) team who are recognised as leaders in delivering exceptional client service across borders. ETC provides specialist tax, business and technology expertise to address our clients’ most pressing challenges in an exciting, dynamic tax and business environment, through a broad range of innovative service offerings.

The opportunity

Our team in London acts as a single point of contact between the client and the EY global network for all Global Compliance and Reporting (GCR) services. We help multinational clients manage the increasing regulatory and legislative demands they face in fulfilling their statutory compliance and reporting requirements.
Your key responsibilities
You will lead multi-country, multi-service engagements across a varied global portfolio of clients ranging in size and complexity. You will be looking after the contracting and transition processes, supporting the clients’ finance and tax transformation, leading client relationship management, developing our service offerings and ensuring exceptional client service throughout the life of our contracts.
In addition, you will support business development by working on key proposals, coordinating the preparation of documentation and fees, and presenting them to new clients.
Skills and attributes for success
Coordination of multi-jurisdiction engagements including project setup, transition, on-going service delivery and event driven changes- Develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders (internal and external)
- Lead day-to-day client meetings
- Manage engagement governance
- Management of the offshore delivery team in India
- Mentor and develop junior members of the team
- Review profitability regularly and look at ways to improve where possible
- Identify opportunities for additional EY services
- Develop solutions with the team to enhance service offerings, improve profitability and promote knowledge sharing across the network
- Assisting with proposals including pricing, proposal materials, technology demonstrations and oral presentations
To qualify for the role you must have
Experience working on multi-jurisdictional projects- Experience in client-facing roles interfacing with executive stakeholders
- Ability to develop internal and external stakeholder networks to build relationships necessary to deliver against strategic plans and projects
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to adapt your message to both technical and business audiences
- A demonstrable track record of leading/delivering quality engagements that result in long-standing client relationships and repeat client engagements
- Experience managing teams
Ideally, you’ll also have
Excellent MS Excel and Word capability- This role does not specifically require tax or accounting qualifications or experience, but previous experience in these areas would be beneficial
