Positioned within our broader Reputation, Crisis and Resilience practice, our ERM team supports the largest global organisations solve their ERM challenges, developing bespoke, fit for purpose ERM approaches which reflect current needs and future ambition.
Our team members operate at a global level within the Deloitte ERM Global Centre of Excellence located in the UK. There is plenty to learn, space to develop and make a real contribution in helping shape the future direction of Enterprise Risk Management, with an opportunity to participate in a wide range of assignments.

Enterprise Risk Management is central to our overall Risk Advisory strategy which is resulting in sustained levels of investment – even during a global pandemic.
Our team of Enterprise Risk Management professionals come from a range of disciplines so whether you have already developed a successful career in Enterprise Risk Management or have a broader governance, resilience, strategy or business consulting background we are keen to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Managing day-to-day client engagement management and delivery, including responsibility for contracts and budgets, and managing client relationships
- Providing Enterprise Risk Management advice and hands-on support to clients. This includes Enterprise Risk Maturity Assessments, developing and refining clients ERM Frameworks and ‘deep-diving’ key risks. Typical engagements are supporting clients establish risk appetite frameworks and build approaches to emerging risks.
- Understanding complex business environments including business processes to identify and assess relevant risks
- Executing the work with the highest quality and in a timely manner
- Developing technical knowledge and an understanding of adjacent services such as Reputation, Resilience and Controls to offer clients a holistic and seamless experience
- Developing ongoing sector expertise and insight
- Developing internal and external networks to understand emerging client issues and needs
- Supporting and developing team members
- Contributing to thought leadership, development of new products and services across all elements of our Enterprise Risk Management offering
- Managing internal projects in support of Enterprise Risk Management business objectives

Essential Skills
- Demonstrable work experience in Enterprise Risk Management
- Consultative skills including analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- A good depth of understanding of organisational risk issues
- Experience of building strong relationships with external and internal stakeholders
- Ability to work quickly, intelligently and accurately
- Excellent written and oral communication skills including ability to summarise and present technical information to non-technical audiences in English
- Collaborative, proactive and result & detail-oriented attitude
- Excellent computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Desirable Skills
- Ideally a relevant professional qualification (e.g. IRM, ACCA or other risk or business qualification)
- Knowledge and experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI)
- Business development experience through regular client interactions, issuing proposals, building relationships with internal colleagues across different teams and geographies and responding to RFPs.
- Knowledge of one or two key industry sectors with insight on trends and themes

Personal independence
Regulation and controls are standard practice in our industry and Deloitte is no exception. These controls provide important legal protection for both you and the firm. We are subject to a number of audit regulations, one of which requires that certain colleagues abide by specific personal independence constraints. This can mean that you and your "Immediate Family Members" are not permitted to hold certain financial interests (shares, funds, bonds etc.) with audit clients of the firm. The recruitment team will provide further detail as you progress through the recruitment process.
