Job description
As a Macdonald’s Maintenance Manager, you will play a vital role in delivering an outstanding experience to all our guests.
We see you as a real ambassador of our company, operating on the front line with an organised, proactive approach and a meticulous eye for detail. You enjoy being part of a busy team but also have the drive to build a strong team, always keen to deliver the highest standards and exceed our guests’ expectations.
As a member of the larger inter-department team, you will manage the broader operations of the hotel, as well as make strong relationships with your colleagues/team and build a network of colleagues. This is a great chance to broaden your experience!
What we are looking for:
· A self-starter who can manage the tasks of the department
· Someone to create maintenance schedules and manage all tasks.
· Someone who can conduct site inspections and identify areas requiring extra maintenance work.
· Perform minor on-site repairs as required.
· Schedule the team and contractors for major repairs as required.
· Understand budgets, develop maintenance budget, hire and train staff and control costs
· Be able to co-ordinate work performed by outside vendors
This position will include shifts working Saturday and Sunday. Additional hours may be required to support the hotel during our busier periods, including bank holidays.
