We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is keen to work alongside an already established print company and events company as an assistant manager with potential 25% ownership. (Negotiable for more established candidates)
The events company was established in 2010 and the print company was established in 2020.
What we are looking for;
- Commitment to the position for a minimum of 2 years
- A driving license and your own vehicle
- An Entrepreneurial mindset
- Passion for event organisation
- Ability to work at any task and fulfill it well
- Must be able to start in the next 2 weeks and begin training
About the position;
This position is a very unique job role. Due to one of the business partners moving away to Australia a unique opportunity is up for grabs.
- This is a self employed position, earning 25% of the business profits.
- Average working office work is 11am - 6pm Monday - Friday for the print business.
- Average working hours for the events will be subject to event style and event days so this will be determined in event planning.
- This role requires you to take a business partner style role in making the business work to its maximum potential but also by completing menial tasks to get the day/event finished in full.
This role therefore offers;
- A monthly income from Bay Print
- A yearly income from Posh Parties Formal Events
- A weekly income from Cashmere PR upon establishing events again
We have 13 years in the events industry around Northern Ireland. You may have heard of events such as, dsqo (Filthys on Thursdays), Hideout (Mondays in Thompsons), HUSH (Saturdays in Society) KNEEDEEP (In El Divino and also in Coach Nightclub) to name a few. We plan to start running a few successful events and we need someone to come in with as much enthusiasm and love for events as we have.
If you have any event experience it is desirable but not necessary. Someone that is moldable, trainable and wants to learn and grow their experience in events and promotions and manage several businesses and continue to grow. Someone that can take direction, is hungry for work, wants to grow their network, is sociable and wants to grab this great opportunity by the horns!
We also have a print and merchandise business as we were forced to stop running events in March 2020 due to the pandemic. We have grown it from nothing and is now a well established business with a long list of return clients. Many of which are the main establishments in Belfast. This role will require a small amount of online effort, replying to messages that come through to the page, uploading posts and stories, prepping finished jobs such as wrapping, delivering the odd job and things like that. Things that can very easily be done while we are focusing on the events business from the same office. This opportunity is very unique and rare. For the right candidate to slot into a key role in 3 already established entities and be earning from them all whilst under the same roof! It would mean working in the office on the events and the print business at the same time so you have a base income from Bay Print while collecting an income from the events.
But yea, the job is open for someone who’s fully committed to the position and knows that it’s not a free ride. It’s graft of all kinds from painting a club to road trips to venues to building decor to selling tickets and organising staff, etc.
