These are exciting times in Greater Manchester with significant investments being made in the delivery, improvement and maintenance of the region’s transport, highway and utility infrastructure. Greater Manchester’s highway network is crucial in promoting economic growth. Wider collaboration of street works activities within the Greater Manchester region is a vital part of a prosperous and forward looking region.
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who is keen to take the Greater Manchester Permit Scheme to the next level of development. You will have a working knowledge of street works legislation including the New Roads and Street Works Act and Traffic Management Act. You will have excellent negotiation and communication skills with a history of working with customers and stakeholders at a variety of levels. You will also be familiar in the use and development of permit information systems with an eye for continual improvement of the regional permit scheme.
- A salary of £44,324 - £49,649 per annum depending on experience
