Job Purpose
Use your professional experience to inspire others
We are passionate about building careers through education, supporting individuals to achieve their career goals and businesses to maximise their talent. Established for over 40 years, we deliver courses in law, accountancy, technology, management, nursing and more. Our education is designed to be practical, engaging, and innovative and most importantly, relevant to the real-world. As such, we are looking for outstanding individuals to bring their professional experience to life and join us as a tutor.
We need professionals to inspire the next generation
If you’re looking to switch to a career as a tutor, the good news is that you don’t need previous teaching experience. We can help you develop the skills needed to be a great tutor, but what we need from you is the passion and drive to inspire others in your area of expertise. We are looking for highly motivated practitioners with a keen sense of the corporate context, who are excited by the prospect of using their professional expertise to develop careers in higher education.
Use your professional expertise to support every area of student learning across our Business School – engaging learners with the essential skills and knowledge needed to kick-start a career in any industry. With an innovative, real-world approach to professional development, your motivating impact will help transform everyday teaching into exciting, practical and thought-provoking learning.
We are interested in hearing from practitioners and/or experienced academics who can teach a range of business management related modules on our MSc and BSc programmes (e.g., Digital Leadership, Digital Transformation, Executive Leadership and Governance, Project Management, Strategy, HR, and Professional Development modules).
Choose a better work-life balance
With hybrid working available, you’ll be able to split your time between one of our nationwide centres and wherever you choose to call home. Either way, you’ll benefit from a vibrant workplace and a culture that believes in looking after others, while being part of a diverse workforce where difference is celebrated. In addition, you’ll work alongside other like-minded professionals who champion progress, while having opportunities to develop in an environment where creativity and innovation is rewarded. On top of a competitive tutor salary, we provide a generous annual leave entitlement of 30 days, and there’s a rewards package that includes retail discounts, dedicated healthcare and dental plans that offer additional assurance to look after you and your family.
Job Background
Hear from a recent joiner
I am extremely pleased to have joined BPP as a lecturer and module leader. What stands out is the amazing induction I had, which is far superior to any other university I have ever taught at. I work with a fantastic team of experienced lecturers who have industry specific experience. My colleagues have been quick to assist in all ways possible to ensure I was up and running without any problems. The IT department was exceptional in ensuring I had a top of the range Lenovo delivered to my door on the first day I joined. I really am enjoying the work environment as well as the perks, which include a generous annual leave and the rewards scheme. (BPP Management Lecturer)
