During this two-year graduate programme, you'll gain business-wide experience and build cross-functional expertise with placement opportunities in Supply Chain, Production, Quality Control, New Product Development, Improvement and more. You’ll get hands-on experience across the operation while developing and using skills to deliver improvement projects in each placement. From learning what it takes to develop delicious, innovative meals to running a fast paced production environment, you’ll have the opportunity to learn and grow in a supportive yet challenging business environment with a real input into your future and your development.

What you’ll be doing
This unique graduate scheme will involve four separate six-month placements that will support your growth and development, while empowering you to get involved in that areas that you are interested in. Each placement will provide you with the key training and support to get you up to speed before giving you clear objectives and the autonomy to deliver them. You’ll fit into a business as usual role in each of the business function placements, getting hands on experience with the day-to-day and delivering tangible outputs. This could involve supporting with the management of the production environment, pulling together key business analysis and insights to present to senior management or mind-mapping ground-breaking product ideas.
Alongside the day-to-day, you’ll be given all the training, coaching and support to identify and deliver improvements in each of your placements. You’ll be expected to come in with a fresh perspective, support and drive improvement initiatives and champion new, more efficient ways of working across the business. What we ask from you is that you bring energy, enthusiasm and resilience to the role, constantly looking for ways to improve and helping each of the functions to work smarter and more effectively.
What we’re looking for in you
- The ability and confidence to communicate clearly and effectively and build strong working relationships across all levels of the business
- Good presentation skills and ability to explain complex information simply
- Ability to work independently as well as part of the team
- Strong analytical ability and problem solving initiative
- Internally motivated and driven to succeed in a fast paced environment
- Desire to learn, develop and challenge yourself
- A 2.1 degree or above in any discipline by September 2023
- To be legally entitled to work in the UK
- To live/commute (or relocate) near enough to Manchester to work onsite daily
