JOB OVERVIEW
OPG is looking for a strategic and results-driven professional to join our team in the role of Senior Manager, Business Relationship Management based in Pickering, ON.

Reporting to the Director, Customer Experience and IT Services, the Senior Manager, Business Relationship Management leads a team of IT professionals who work closely with senior leaders and executives across OPG to enable both short term and long-term business objectives through IT solutions. The Senior Manager, Business Relationship Management maintains strategic oversight of the IT portfolio and works with both the business and IT service providers to shape IT direction and spend to maximize value for both IT and OPG.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Lead a team of senior IT professionals with a focus on specific customer groups.
  • Have a clear and thorough understanding of OPG’s business functions, processes and information management priorities as well as the IT systems and resources used to help the business optimize IT expenditures.
  • Ensure delivery of high-quality and reliable IT services at the lowest possible cost
  • Lead and champion the development, delivery and continuous improvement of IT demand management and customer relationship management
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify service gaps and create IT roadmaps to enable short term and long-term business outcomes.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the Business Relationship Office and course correct when required.
  • Other Duties as Required.

EDUCATION
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications in IT service management (e.g., ITIL)

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications in IT service management (e.g., ITIL)
  • BRMP certification, CBRM preferred.
  • ITIL Intermediate or Expert certification considered an asset.
  • 10+ years of supervisory or management experience.
  • Experience in a unionized environment considered an asset.
  • 5+ years of project management experience with increased responsibility considered an asset.
  • Proven experience managing IT demand across multiple business units with competing priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal, relationship management and conflict resolution skills.
