Job description
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to join our team. The Kitchen Assistant will be responsible for washing and maintaining the cleanliness of all dishes, cutlery, and other kitchen utensils used in events. The successful candidate will work in our warehouse. Cleaning items from events.
Responsibilities:
- Washing charger plates, cutlery, and other kitchen utensils by hand using the appropriate cleaning agents and techniques.
- Dry and polish dishes and utensils after washing.
- Store clean dishes and utensils in the appropriate locations.
- Clean and sanitize all surfaces in the kitchen, including counters, sinks, and floors.
- Empty garbage and recycling bins as needed.
- Keep the kitchen clean and organized at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the kitchen manager or supervisor.
Qualifications:
- No formal education or prior experience is required for this position.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
