Job Advert: Management Accountant (6-9 Month Fixed Term Contract)
Location: Birmingham, UK Salary: £35,000 - £38,000 per annum (depending on experience)
We are currently seeking a skilled Management Accountant to join our client, a leading manufacturing organisation based in Birmingham, UK. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced environment on a fixed-term contract basis, spanning 6-9 months.
Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and timely management accounts, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Maintain financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to provide financial insights and recommendations for business decisions.
• Assist in the development of financial models and reports to support strategic planning and performance analysis.
• Conduct periodic audits to identify potential risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations and financial statement preparation.
• Utilise SAP software effectively for financial data management and reporting.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA preferred).
• Prior experience in a management accounting role, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in using SAP or similar ERP systems for financial management.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and understanding of accounting principles.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights.
• Proven ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
