Overview
Providing support to the Accounting Department and managing a portfolio of clients, providing them with a variety of accounting services once you have been fully trained. You will be working alongside your supervisor who will be responsible for your training.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Book-keeping
- VAT returns
- Management Accounts
- Payroll
- Systems used – Sage, Xero, IRIS.
- Looking after a portfolio of clients whilst providing accounting services.
- Ensuring that all deadlines are met on monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
- Improving processes and workflows.
- Compliance with the company’s internal control policies and procedures.
- Ensuring accuracy, timeliness and completeness of all tasks.
- Confidently liaising with clients via e-mail, video conferencing and telephone.
- Other duties assigned by the Head of Accounting.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience within an Accounting environment is ideal but not essential
- AAT or an Accounting degree is ideal but not essential.
- Ability to work in a multi-cultural diverse environment and under pressure.
- Solid proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications (word, excel and outlook
- Ability to follow through on required work.
- Good verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £21,000.00-£23,000.00 per year
