Role: Management Accountant
Salary: Up to £45,000

As the Management Accountant you will play a vital role in preparing and providing accurate financial analysis and insights to ensure future stability, profitability and growth and to assist management in improving value in all areas of the business.
The Role & Responsibilities of the Management Accountant
- Produce the Management Accounts
- Undertake financial planning and analysis
- Produce depot Profit and Loss and Balance Sheets.
- Undertake overhead analysis
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Preparation and submission of VAT returns
- General ledger, incl. journal preparation & posting
- Assist with completion of month-end, ad-hoc weekly / monthly reporting
- Any other ad hoc duties as required
Requirements of the Management Accountant
- CIMA part or full qualified
- Experience of Accounting within the Construction or Civil Engineering industry would be desirable
- Previous Management Accountant experience
- Accountancy / Finance or Engineering related degree are also highly desirable
- Strong IT skills incl. Microsoft Excel (pivot charts / tables, macros, data models)
