Being a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and smooth transition of passengers, staff and airport personnel whilst always maintaining the highest level of customer service and satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities
- Passenger Screening – Screening all passengers to the required standards
- X-Ray Screening – Screening/searching cabin & hold baggage to ensure no prohibited articles are brought in
- Access Control – Controlling of access to the aerodrome
- Patrolling –Carry out foot patrols of airside/landside locations to ensure they are secure
- Responding to and assisting with emergency situations.
- Carrying out body searches on male passengers and staff members

Essential Criteria:
- Have excellent customer service and communication skills
- Basic IT skills
- Demonstrate the ability to think and act quickly in emergencies or under pressure.
- Have an ability to deliver succinct and clear verbal and written reports where necessary.
- Able to demonstrate an ability to work as part of a team.
- Able to deal calmly and confidently with all demands from the public.
Essential:
- Minimum of 3-year UK residency
- A 5-year checkable background

- Team player - Teamwork is a critical aspect of our working operations. Ideally, you should be able to work co-operatively as part of a team, as well as independently, to ensure effective customer service is delivered.
To work at any of our aviation sites, an airside pass is essential. We can provide this for you, so long as you have:
5 years Checkable background (including employment, self-employment, career gaps, benefits and education
Able to pass a CRC, Access NI and CTC (Counter terrorism check) as part of the airside pass application.
Able to pass a colour-blind test
