We are currently recruiting full time, part time and bank Autism Support Worker

We are currently recruiting full time, part time and bank Autism Support Workers to support an individual with autism and a learning disability within the IPSWICH area. The successful candidates must be flexible to work Monday to Sunday and we are recruiting for DAYS and NIGHTS. This is a new service that we are setting up.

Company description

We are a specialist care provider that supports individuals who have a learning disability and are on the autism spectrum. We provide a flexible, person-centred approach with a focus on supporting those who display significant behaviours of concern.

We offer a broad spectrum of flexible personalised care carried out by our multi-disciplinary team. Positive Behavioural Support (PBS) Practitioners and Learning disability nurses offer a wide range of skills and experience in specialised assessments, planning and delivering the right support.

Here at LDA Care we don’t anticipate ‘smooth sailing’ with the people we are serving. The individuals we support may have experienced abuse, rejection and trauma. Some individuals may exhibit symptoms of post-traumatic stress, have experienced institutionalisation, and may have missed out on everyday processes of socialisation. Each has inherent and acquired ‘disabilities', however, experience tells us with the right skilled relationship-based support and the opportunity to experience a rich and meaningful life, these individuals can have and be so much more.

LDA Care are looking for people who will demonstrate the competence (or enthusiasm to acquire the competence) to provide excellent personalised social, and sometimes clinical level behavioural, support to people with learning disabilities and autism in their own homes.

This is the part where you come in, come and join us delivering holistic care, achieving great outcomes and enabling meaningful environments
