We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Technician to join our Engineering Team. This position is based at Wrexham site in North Wales and reports directly to the Maintenance Manager.
The successful applicant will have strong experience in being able to maintain the Wrexham site manufacturing facilities and equipment in compliance with site procedures, cGMP, SHE, GEP etc., as directed by the Maintenance Manager and Engineering Planning & Coordinator Manager.
In addition, it is the responsibility of this position to highlight and complete improvement activities for reliability, quality and safety that fall within the responsibility of the engineering maintenance team.
The Multiskilled Maintenance Technician will also have involvement in reliability processes under the leadership of the plant / reliability engineer.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
Your role will also include:
To highlight and execute safety improvements across site and where appropriate communicate these with the other team embers
To job control contractors working on site as required
Ensure all activities and documentation is fully compliant with cGMP and maintained in an inspection-ready condition
To be part of Quality processes such as (but not limited to) CAPA, UE, Change control and internal auditing
Build a strong working relationship with the operations team and become fully integrated to allow a strong level of trust and customer service.
Proactively look for continuous improvement opportunities by regular discussions with the operations team.
Education/Experience:
In return, you will bring:
Ideal: BTEC or a relevant technical qualification (HND etc) in Engineering with
5 years industrial experience in a relevant engineering discipline, preferably Mechanical, Process, E&IC or Plant Engineering and GMP experience.
Autoclave/steriliser maintenance experience (e.g. HTM2010).
Experience in PLC logic.
