As a Caregiver for Right at Home Bedford you can help support the vulnerable in their own homes and make a difference at a time when it has never counted so much.

The Role

  • Our Caregivers spend time with each of our elderly private clients who live in their own homes. Duties differ from visit to visit.
  • Personal Care (including washing, dressing and personal hygiene),
  • Medication support
  • Meal Preparation and light housework
  • Errands (e.g shopping)
  • Providing Companionship

Hours of work

We have a number of clients who need support at all times of the day which allows your job to fit around your home life. We are currently looking for those looking to work between the hours of 7am- 3pm and 4pm-10pm plus alternate weekends. The role can be part time or full time and shifts are planned 2 weeks in advance. The role involves driving from home to home across Bedford and some rural area so we require access to your own vehicle.
