We have an opportunity for a Maintenance Technician to join our team at Hinkley Point C. This is a full time role working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday 8.00am - 5.00pm. As Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for implementing Building & Plant maintenance works.


Key Responsibilities of this role are:

  • Responsible for implementing Building & Plant maintenance works

  • To perform reactive repair & maintenance tasks as designated by HPC helpdesk team.

  • To respond to BMS generated alarms and faults Enthusiastic, self-motivated and flexible approach

  • To perform planned Workspace Re-engineering tasks.

  • Raise work requests through the CAFM system to ensure full traceability of works carried out.

  • To comply with the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act and emergency procedures as required. Work with other craft qualified, semi-skilled and non-skilled maintenance staff to develop cross-skilling and cover all levels and aspects of maintenance activities on a team work basis.

  • Supervise and co-ordinate subcontractors to meet the needs of the business.

  • Maintenance inspection and repairs to various assets, building fabric and estate, e.g. furniture, internal and external fixtures and fittings, grounds, access and parking, etc. Participate in on-call duties.



The Ideal Candidate:

Essential Requirements are:

  • Maintenance experience

  • Knowledge of relevant Health & Safety procedures

  • Must be IT literate

  • Good communicator

  • Reliable, conscientious with an eye for detail.
