Job description
GKR Maintenance & Building Co. Ltd is a building maintenance company based in South Wales, carrying out building maintenance work for retail and leisure clients in South Wales and the South West of England. We are looking to appoint a bathroom/disabled adaptation fitter to join our existing team. This position is permanent to work on local social housing contracts to install wet rooms to their properties. The ideal candidate will be required to fit level former trays, basic plumbing, tiling, associated carpentry. Wages are negotiable depending on experience. Van and uniform provided. A driving license is essential. Mon- Fri – 39 hours per week
Position: Disabled Adaptation Bathroom Fitter
Rate: £29,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience, including overtime
Hours: Monday – Thursday 8.00am – 4.30pm
Friday 8.00am – 3.30pm
Holidays: 28 days (inclusive of bank holidays)
A mobile phone, uniform, vehicle and fuel card will be provided for work purposes only. A full UK Driving License is essential.
Key Skills: We are looking for a qualified Disabled Adaptation Bathroom Fitter to join our team to carry out bathroom adaptions on our social housing contracts. Ability to carry out all aspects of works (tiling, associated carpentry, finishing works etc) is essential.
Good tenant communication, paperwork and organizational skills are also essential in this role.
