Job description
As a key member of the Engineering Team of The BoTree Hotel, our Maintenance Manager will be assisting the Director of Engineering in ensuring the smooth running of the engineering department and guest appeal of the building, whilst adhering to its safety, engineering standards and achieving cost targets. Our Maintenance Manager will ensure that through the promotion of knowledge, expertise and personality a seamless first and lasting impression of the hotel is delivered, creating an incredible guest experience.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Working with the Director of Engineering to develop the engineering departmental standards
- Plan, direct and coordinate the delivery of Engineering activities
- Display a pleasant and positive attitude and promote efficiency, courtesy and confidence within your department ensuring all guest requests are carried out in a timely and professional manner following hotel standards.
- Provide technical leadership and act as a focal point for all technical queries.
- Build and create strong community relationships, in order to ensure our guests, receive an excellent service at recommended venues.
What we would like you to bring:
- Experience in general trades such as light plumbing, minor electrical, painting and general repairs.
- Demonstrable experience of leading and motivating a team.
- Previous, relevant experience in a luxury hotel.
- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and guests.
- Experience in PPM and HVAC
