The Purpose:
This role will assist the Maintenance Department in helping to maintain the fabric of the Stadium. As the service arm of the business, we have high standards and expectations to manage, and this position is crucial in allowing us to maintain the efficiency and quality that we aim to deliver.
The Role:
- Carry out various maintenance joinery to a very high standard, with experience in working with board materials, hard woods, and soft woods.
- Knowledge of the most regularly used sources.
- Replace internal / external doors.
- Repair and replace locking mechanisms and signage when necessary.
- General maintenance such as painting, shelving, building and fitting cupboards.
- Complete tasks in a timely manner ensuring quality and standards are kept.
- Good knowledge of Health & safety/ COSHH legislation .
The Person
- Good time management skills and a flexible approach to working hours.
- A minimum of 5 years in a similar environment carrying out maintenance.
- Confident working in a machine workshop, carrying out benchwork / onsite work.
- NVQ /CITY AND GUILDS qualification in Carpentry and Joinery.
- Extensive knowledge on products of the trade.
- A safety-first approach to all activities.
- High standards of presentation and quality control.
- Comfortable working with both hardwoods and softwoods.
