Due to phenomenal growth, we are looking to add an experienced Mobile Multi Skilled Mobile Maintenance Engineer to join our fast-growing M&E Building Services team. We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic tradespeople to join our growing engineering family, working in a challenging and diverse role where no two days are the same. Our skilled engineers provide mobile delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services across a variety of clients and industries.
In your new role as a multi-skilled engineer (electrically biased) you will undertake routine planned maintenance in line with the PPM scheduled dates along with reactive repairs. Supporting the UK maintenance manager with a lead focus on compliance across King & Moffatts maintenance portfolio ensuring they operate effectively and efficiently and meet customer and contractual requirements. All work is to be completed in line with the latest guidance and legislation such as SFG20 or relevant ACoP's where applicable.
The role is based in London. 07:00 – 17:00, 40 hours per week. It entails travel between multiple sites in North London
Key Responsibilities
- Responsibility for electrical PPM, proactive and reactive works issued through the help desk within set time frames so that the customer expectations are exceeded.
- Responsibility for other types of building services maintenance to include fabric, HVAC, mechanical and related tasks.
- To provide callout response for the client as detailed on the callout rota
- To undertake contractor control duties on behalf of the client, including monitoring of contractors and their workmanship, so that relevant standards are met. Issue of Permits to Work
- Ensure that all electrical equipment within scope operates to specified performance criteria.
- Ensure equipment and surrounding area conforms to agreed company standards.
- To provide a professional service and represent the company in a way which ensures customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- City & Guilds 2230 Level 3 OR NVQ 2356 / 2357 OR City and Guilds 2330 Level 3 in Electrical Installation OR AM1 and AM2
- City & Guilds 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations
- Full UK Driving License
In addition to the above mandatory requirements applicants who have served a recognised apprenticeship and have the following will be preferred: -
- City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in Inspection & Testing (2394/5)
- JIB Accredited
- IPAF / PASMA
