Maintenance Electrician (Shifts)
Roles & responsibilities:
Reporting to the Shift Maintenance Team Leader, the Shift Maintenance Electrician will assume responsibility for electrical maintenance activities generally during nightshift and weekend periods when a Maintenance Coordinator is not at work.
The Shift Maintenance Electrician will perform preventative maintenance, installation work, breakdown repairs and general maintenance on a variety of plant and equipment types.
They will ensure that all work carried out conforms to the requirements of Ecobat’s Health and Safety, Quality, Environmental and Energy policies.

Qualifications & experience:
Essential:
- They will be fully apprentice-trained, with a number of years electrical experience, preferably gained in a heavy industrial environment.
- Preferably trained to BS7671 IEE Wiring Regulations 18th Edition.
- A strong understanding of the importance of and commitment towards upholding HSE compliance.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate to all employees at all levels within the company.
- Must have the ability to remain calm when dealing with difficult or conflicting situations.
- Ability to use your own initiative.
- The ability to work either as part of a team or alone.
- Must be computer literate with the ability to complete a detailed computer-based work sheet.
