An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part time Band 2 Administrative Assistant within the Audiology Service.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly, motivated individual with excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will be part of wider administrative team, working within fast paced and demanding diagnostic pathways.
The post will be based in the Audiology Department itself and as such, will be patient facing.
The post holder will be responsible for liaising directly with patients to help with their queries, taking telephone calls and booking appointments.
The role will also include responsibility for the day to day administrative support to the Audiology Service and will involve a range of administrative and clerical duties. Including, but not limited to cashing up clinics, managing the email inboxes, distribution of post, scanning, ordering of goods, letter folding and uploading information onto our Patient Access System (Meditech.)
