Where can Next Furniture Manufacturing take you?
Next is one of the UK’s best known high-street retailers and most established online operations but have you ever wondered who builds our stylish and comfortable sofas?
In 2016 we opened our doors with just one production line and 6 years later we have 200 employees and 14 production lines.
We’re blazing the way for modern British Manufacturing from our home in Armthorpe, Doncaster.
Who are we looking for?
As a Machine Operator in our foam conversion team, you will assist with all aspects of foam preparation to aid in the production of furniture. Responsibilities include loading and unloading Baumer foam cutting machines, cutting to set specifications and tolerance to ensure you deliver high quality foam parts for sofa manufacturing whilst generating minimal waste.
You will also be using manual handling equipment to move foam. You will be a team player, with exceptional attention to detail who is passionate about their work and fully committed to delivering products “right first time”.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an Operator who loves working in a fast paced environment where no day is ever the same.
Being ‘hands on’ will be in your nature but don’t worry if you have never worked in a furniture manufacturing environment before; we will offer full training and will bring you up to speed on our ever growing range of models and designs!
What’s Next?
If your application is successful, you will be invited to take part in an interview and practical assessment.
A career within Next Furniture Manufacturing is an opportunity to be part of an exciting concept within Next.
To help give you the best start in our Manufacturing Team, we'll give you an extensive induction featuring in-depth training sessions. We will provide ongoing coaching and support designed to give you all the information you need to succeed in your new role.
