Job description

Job title: Production Operative/ Machine Operator for a Polyurethane foam moulding company.

We are looking for a member of staff to operate Polyurethane dispensing machines, making products for a wide range of Industries.

The Role:

As an operative you will be working as part of a production team dispensing Polyurethane foam systems into mould tools, keeping daily records, maintaining mould tools and keeping your workstation clean and tidy while ensuring that H&S, production and quality targets are met.

Your duties will involve:

operating machinery & tooling

material handling

working to production quality standards

collecting production and processing data

ensuring all equipment and materials are suitable for use, kept maintained and stored appropriately

Please note : this is a permanent role working 30 - 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday only. Some flexibility may be required to meet factory requirements.

In addition, our wholesale division has been supplying superb hand-tools to the construction industry since 1980. We have a strong customer base in Europe and a constantly expanding product range.

About you:

Basic English and good numeracy skills are essential.

Experience of operating and maintaining key manufacturing machinery is preferable, full Industry specific training will be given.

Close attention to detail

Ability to work in a team environment, with a flexible approach to undertaking additional duties which fit with your experience and skills.

Excellent time keeping

The success of the company relies on employees undertaking their duties to meet effective targets. It is a specific requirement that all employees perform tasks to the best of their ability and be aware of reducing any wasted time and materials. Employees should communicate effectively with management on processes that can be improved and developed to meet production deadlines.
