Factory Operative required in Whitstable, Kent
Our client operates a factory in Whitstable, Kent, manufacturing plastics. They are looking for a factory operative to join their team on an ongoing placement starting from the 14th August 2023.
About this Factory Operative job in Whitstable, Kent:
- Loading materials in to the machine
- Repetitive manual handling (25kg bags)
- Unloading products
- Ensuring smooth running of the machine against production targets
- Movement of stock and materials around the factory and warehouse
- Use of forklift, if licensed
Factory Operative shift pattern:
- Shift rotation 6:00am - 2:00pm and 2:00pm - 10:00pm
- Monday to Friday
About you, the ideal Factory Operative:
- Factory or warehouse experience
- Previous machine operating experience preferred
- Comfortable with repetitive manual work
- Forklift license is preferred but not essential
