Factory Operative required in Whitstable, Kent

Our client operates a factory in Whitstable, Kent, manufacturing plastics. They are looking for a factory operative to join their team on an ongoing placement starting from the 14th August 2023.

About this Factory Operative job in Whitstable, Kent:

• Loading materials in to the machine
• Repetitive manual handling (25kg bags)
• Unloading products
• Ensuring smooth running of the machine against production targets
• Movement of stock and materials around the factory and warehouse
• Use of forklift, if licensed

Factory Operative shift pattern:

• Shift rotation 6:00am - 2:00pm and 2:00pm - 10:00pm
• Monday to Friday

About you, the ideal Factory Operative:

• Factory or warehouse experience
• Previous machine operating experience preferred
• Comfortable with repetitive manual work
• Forklift license is preferred but not essential
