Job description
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Freeze Drying Production Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for loading and unloading sweets into the freeze dryers, ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of orders. They will also play a vital role in stock management, ensuring an adequate supply of raw sweets is available for production.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor the freeze dryers to ensure smooth and efficient processing of sweets.
- Load and unload sweets into the freeze dryers according to production schedules and order requirements.
- Learn and understand the specific requirements for each type of sweet to ensure correct handling and processing.
- Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy by managing raw stock of sweets, conducting regular stock checks, and reporting any discrepancies.
- Collaborate with the production team to fulfill customer orders and meet deadlines.
- Comply with all safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Troubleshoot and address minor equipment issues to maintain production efficiency.
- Follow standard operating procedures and maintain records of production activities.
- Communicate any supply shortages or production delays to the supervisor.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production setting.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic understanding of stock management and inventory control.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
- Flexibility to work Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and techniques.
