The role
We are currently looking to recruit a full time Recruitment Assistant to join our Recruitment Team.
Within the role itself you will provide a recruitment service to the business on the recruitment processes in accordance with established policies and procedures. To enable managers to carry out their people management role effectively through guidance on policy and process.
You will be a key point of contact for applicants, candidates and our managers and provide advice and guidance from the point of advertising right through to onboarding, delivering a professional, high quality and responsive service.
This is a fast paced, high-volume role, you will need have excellent attention to detail and be able to multi-task & prioritise your workload. You’ll need great customer service skills too, providing an easy, supportive & efficient service to stakeholders and candidates.
What we’re looking for
The essential requirements for the role include:
Experience of working in a recruitment role with knowledge of recruitment processes and policies covering a variety of HR activities- Experience of working in a fast paced, high-volume environment and delivery of excellent customer service
- Able to work as part of a team and is a team player who values contributing to others and the business
- Flexible and adaptable to the needs of customers and to the business
- Experience of working with a HR/Recruitment system
- Good Knowledge of Word and Excel
- Knowledge of confidentiality and data protection legislation
- Ability to accurately process high volumes of recruitment, prioritising accordingly whilst ensuring these are processed accurately and in a timely manner with excellent attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills and displays confidence when dealing with customers of the recruitment service, dealing with a large volume and variety of queries
- Willing to speak up and challenge to improve how we work, providing suggestions and feedback where required
- Organised, diligent and methodical with excellent time management skills and proactive in prioritising workloads to meet work demands and deadlines.
- Effective at guiding managers through people management processes, providing excellent customer service putting the customer at the heart of what we do
- Proactive, self-motivated with the ability to work alone and as part of the wider People and Culture team as a team player to achieve objectives and targets and can demonstrate flexibility and accountability
- Flexibility to undertake wide range of responsibilities and always willing to learn new skills
- Educated to GCSE Grade C (Level 4) or above or equivalent experience.
- CIPD level 3 or equivalent experience of working in a recruitment environment
