Our ambitious Jewson team in Hayling Island are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Customer Service Sales Advisor who prides themselves on delivering first class service and who aspires to really make a difference.
In this exciting role, you will be responsible for contributing and exceeding customer expectations whilst supporting achievement of sales and profit targets through upselling and cross-selling products.
A Customer Service Advisor is an essential role within the branch network, you will have the opportunity to experience a bit of everything from working in the branch. This role has a strong focus on customer service, so it is great for someone who loves to build relationships with customers both face to face and over the phone. There is also the opportunity to gain Fork Lift Licence
Competitive salary (Depending on experience) + Pension + Life Assurance + Private Medical + 31 days holiday per year
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 7.30am-5.00pm | Alternate Saturdays 8am-12pm
What will I be doing?
- Get to know our product lines and services in order to make the most of all customer interactions
- Develop great relationships with new and existing customers (both face to face and over the phone), understanding their needs and providing proactive advice and solutions so that you can deliver the best experience possible
- Use our in-house systems to process customer orders, organise delivery times, and keep customers updated throughout their journey
- Maintain stock levels, carrying out regular stock counts
- Work with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement
