Job description
Reporting to the relevant Team Leader, the successful candidate will be based at our Tallington site and responsible for:
· Operating equipment in line with Health & Safety procedures and ensuring that this is adhered to at all times
· Working as part of a team and/or individually in a busy manufacturing environment ensuring that product is manufactured to the expected the standard
· General operative duties capable of movement between departments
· Working to tight deadlines
· Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping
· Maintaining quality control throughout all areas of production
· Safe working of several injection mould machines.
· Minor fault finding in relation to Quality and machine operation
· Attending and inputting into daily production team meetings.
· Supporting and taking part in company safety and improvement projects
Applicants must be skilled or semi-skilled with relevant experience in a similar role. Candidates should possess the following skills and competencies:
· Previous experience of operating and working in a machining environment.
· Previous experience operating plastic forming machines is advantageous.
· Previous FLT experience is advantageous.
· Building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions.
· Recognising the value that different perspectives and cultures bring to an organisation
· Creating new and better ways for organisation to be successful
· Planning and prioritising work to meet commitments aligned with organisational goals
· Rebounding from setbacks and adversity when facing difficult situations
· Anticipating and adopting innovations in business-building digital and technology applications
