Join our team at Contract Production, working only 3 nights a week, as an Automated Assembly Operator- in Pickering, UK!
We are currently hiring individuals to join our team at Contract Production in Pickering. If you have prior experience within the electronic industry, or simply have an interest within the electronics industry can show adaptability, a keen eye for detail and enjoy working nights this role is perfect for you!
What our client offers:
Competitive Salary: Earn an hourly rate of £13.50p/h_. *PLEASE NOTE* You will be working on a day shift for training. Salary of £11.75p/h.
_Favourable Working Hours: Monday-Wednesday 7pm-8am. Including two paid breaks & one 30 minute unpaid break
Overtime Opportunities: Enjoy the potential for overtime pay at a rate of 1.5 times your hourly wage after working 37.5 hours per week within the week and double time on a Saturday.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operating Surface Mount Technology equipment and ensuring quality and process consistency.
- Proficiently soldering through hole and SMD components.
- Running Pick and Place equipment or similar machinery.
- Maintaining high levels of dexterity and attention to detail.
- Undertake other necessary shopfloor duties required.
Qualifications and Skills: Our client is looking for someone who is approachable, a good communicator, and has a can-do attitude with a strong team ethic. You need to have good manual dexterity, a keen eye for detail, and take pride in your work- The ideal candidate will have some soldering skills, and a basic knowledge of SMT components and their markings.
