KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- CNC Machine Setting & Operating
- Milling / Turning (with emphasis on Milling tooling / Inserts
- Cutting a wide range of materials – Plastics / Aluminium / Steel (Stainless predominantly)
- Carrying out recorded inspection documents when required
- General housekeeping duties
- Use of handheld precision measuring equipment
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES
- Demonstrable experience of CNC Machine Setting / Operating
- Understanding of tolerances, geometric tolerances & surface finish requirements
- Familiar with the selection of correct turning inserts and grades
- Able to Interpreting drawings & tolerances in metric and imperial sizes
- Experience of Fanuc / Mazatrol controls
- Able to use all handheld precision measuring equipment
- Organised and able to work to deadlines
- Self-motivated, reliable and punctual team player
HELPFUL/ NOT ESSENTIAL
- Ability to operate Fanuc controlled machines
- Programming experience useful, but not essential:
DETAILS OF PACKAGE
Salary up to £33,420 PA approx. (Up to £16.47 PH) Depending on experience including Shift Premium + Overtime + Benefits / Overtime after first 39 hours each week. Paid @ Time and a Half / *Shift premium of 20% is paid on Late Shifts (Early shift paid at normal rate) / Early / Day Shift Rotation (2 Weeks on Each Shift) Days: 0600 to 1400 Monday to Friday / Lates: 1400 to 0000 Monday to Thursday
