Luxury Travel Consultant
Based in Tunbridge Wells, Kent
We are looking for an experienced, motivated and well-engaged salesperson to join our small luxury tour operator business. This position is a full time, customer facing role which requires prior sales experience.

We are looking for a dedicated individual to work alongside our existing team on a variety of sales orientated tasks. Your core responsibilities will include growing a database of prospects and maintaining excellent client relationships. You’ll need to deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring all essential booking processes are followed accurately, whilst communicating effectively and efficiently with both customers and suppliers, and bringing an overall proactive approach to leads. Meticulous attention to detail is key.
Key responsibilities
- Face-to-face customer sales
- Over-the-phone sales and consultations with clients
- Building detailed tailormade itineraries
- Direct contact with luxury hotels and suppliers
- Work alongside the marketing and product team in supporting campaigns
- Administration of customer and booking details
- Attend travel industry events
- Visit hotels across the world and build in depth product knowledge
- Manage client relationships throughout the customer journey
Technical Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of sales or customer relationship experience
- Experience working in the luxury travel or tourism industry is ideal.
- Possess a passion for travelling
- Sales and target orientated, with a proven track record in proactive sales.
- Hospitality or customer care experience
- Enthusiastic team player with the confidence and charisma to work in a high-pressure environment with demanding clients.
- Self-motivated with drive and initiative.
- Effective communication and time management skills
- You will be tenacious, hardworking, and have a good understanding of how to provide high-quality results in a service-orientated position.
- Strong understanding/ general travel knowledge will be highly valued.
- Well-rounded knowledge regarding travel and destinations.
