Our beautiful property is looking for a Luggage Porter to join our family and provide our guests with outstanding levels of service.

The shift pattern for the role is from 8am to 8pm, 4 days on, 4 days off.


The salary for this position is up to £26,000 to £27,000 inclusive of Service Charge.

This wonderful hotel has been fully refurbished and features 161 individually designed bedrooms and suites, as well as a range of Food and Beverage outlets including The English Grill Restaurant, The Curry Room Restaurant, The New York Bar, The Palace Lounge and Champagne Bar, as well as 9 well equipped function rooms.

What are the main responsibilities of a Luggage Porter?
  • Greeting guests upon arrival
  • Ensuring guests luggage is delivered correctly
  • Providing great knowledge of the hotel and local area
  • Escorting guests to their rooms and showing them the hotel facilities
  • Answering general guest queries
  • Ensuring the lobby and front area of the hotel is presentable and clean at all times

What are we looking for in a Luggage Porter?

  • Good knowledge of London and key attractions
  • Previous experience in a customer facing role and excellent communication skills
  • A warm smile and a positive attitude
  • A clean UK and/or European driver’s license (desired but not essential)
