Our core offering is the provision of lubrication, condition monitoring and oil testing services to customers in food and beverage, manufacturing, transport, utilities and heavy industry. The rapid and effective testing of these samples is paramount to our customers understanding the health of their machines and being able to make informed decisions around what steps to take to extend the life of this equipment.
Key accountabilities:

- Responsibility for a predefined section of the site from a lubrication task perspective.
- Liaise with client engineering teams and build a strong rapport with onsite staff.
- Inspection and maintenance of lubrication points and oil levels.
- Collection of oil samples.
- Completion of visual PMs and equipment inspections.
- Assisting sites with inventory management.
- Concise and accurately reporting your findings.
- Performing site audits and supporting Essar’s lubrication programme to a world-class level.
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience in a similar role is vital, with knowledge of machinery lubrication, engineering and mechanical maintenance a must. The candidate will need to be a methodical worker with exceptional attention to detail.
- Qualification to MLA or MLT Level 1 or equivalent is desirable, but not essential.
- Experience of working a technical environment, such as non-destructive testing, analytical chemistry, or in another laboratory-based environment. Practical academic experience would be suitable.
- Due to the scale of the site, the role will involve driving from area to area in a company-provided van. A full driving licence is therefore essential.
- A strong awareness of the importance of safe working in an industrial or lab-based environment.
- Ability to prioritise workloads and make decisions
- Evidence of delivering against targets and working effectively with others
