At our plant in Glenrothes, Scotland we design, develop and produce radial piston motors working in partnership with world renowned international OEM’s in industries such as material handling, construction and forestry machinery. Bosch Rexroth is one of the world’s leading specialists in the field of drive and control technologies. Under the brand name of Rexroth the company supplies customers with tailored solutions for driving, controlling and moving industrial applications, factory automation equipment, mobile applications and renewable power generation.
There is a vacancy for a Logistics Team Leader in our Logistics department. This is a Day shift role, and to cover holidays on continental shifts when required. The post will report to the LOG2 Manager.
Responsibilities/Tasks:
- Review forward load and cover considering sickness/absence
- Move resource as required throughout the shift
- Troubleshooting – e.g., lines going down, all line side issues
- Review material availability to ensure no downtime on assembly or machines
- Investigating all downtime and implementing corrective actions
- Process confirmation – ensure WI are accurate and associates are working to them
- Point of contact for Logistics while on-site
- Running daily Point CIP meetings
- 5s responsibility for all areas (including audits)
- Identify cross training requirements and organise training (training sheet)
- Hands on role if required
- Ensure there is a clear handover between shifts
- Managing materials for Central Wash and ensure working to schedule
- Basic proxy for Mat Coord
Requirements:
- SAP experience
- Excel experience
- Word experience
- Previous managerial experience
