Job Title: Materials Management Officer

Location: Northern General Hospital, Sheffield, S5 7AU

Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week (07:00-15:00) Monday - Friday

Pay: Band 3 - £11.85 per hour

What you’ll be responsible for:

· The use of a suite of IT systems to download the order information using keyboard skills. High concentration levels required.

· Provide a professional, customer focused Materials Management service in support of all user departments to provide direct patient care.

· Identify stock that is nearing expiry date and expedite use or return of these items.

The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above.

You’ll have the following skills/experience:

· Excellent communication skills- both verbal and written

· Microsoft office skills- Outlook, Word, and Excel

· Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure

· Previous experience in similar role

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Driving Licence
