As the Head of Logistics Operations you will play a key role in leading the drinks distribution within Greene King, operating from bases in Bury St Edmunds, Eastwood and Abingdon. Your ability to collaborate with external partners will support the responsibility of serving in excess of 3000 pub customers per week, plus national wholesales and major supermarkets.

Job Description


Your Role as the Head of Operations

  • Lead domestic and export distribution in both the on and off trade through our distribution centres and transport operations
  • Deliver operational excellence within the distribution function and ensuring it is fit for the future
  • Work with all stakeholders to ensure they remain connected to and confident in the service provision
  • Build a robust road map for engagement and capability building cultural development
  • Ensuring health and safety across all Greene King distribution centres and transport operations


What you’ll bring…

  • Significant experience in Logistics or Operational Leadership Roles
  • Change management experience
  • Continuous improvement leadership
  • Strong financial and analytical skills
  • Lean 6 sigma is desirable
