Job description
We are currently looking for an experienced Logistics Manager to join our site in Hemel Hempstead.
You will be responsible for the transport function, ensuring the efficient and cost effective fulfilment of all customer requirements.

Salary: Up to £60,000 p/a depending on experience
Hours: 37.5
Working Pattern: 5 days a week on site.
Location: Hemel Hempstead, HP2 7PZ
As a Logistics Manager at Gist
You will provide inspirational leadership to your team and work in partnership with M&S and our customers to ensure productivity, accuracy and cost targets are met and exceeded. Proven leadership skills are essential in this role, as is the ability to engage and empower your team to execute the operational plan flawlessly.
About You
- CPC License
- Experience of working in a large, complex transport function - ideally within temperature controlled distribution
- A passion for encouraging team work, with an innovative approach to leadership
- Excellent customer relationship building skills
- Strong commercial awareness
- An analytical mind-set with a good understanding of reporting and recording performance statistics.
- Relevant transport management systems knowledge
- Flexibility to work within a fast-paced 24/7 business
