Role: Logistics Manager
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 (DOE)
Location: Coventry
Type: Permanent

Overview
2fawcett have an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Manager to join a business in Coventry on a full time, permanent basis.

Responsibilities of the Logistics Manager

• Reviewing and optimising picking, packing, palletising and goods receipt, transfers, and their related processes ongoing
• Co-ordination and monitoring of day-to-day actions
• Negotiate contracts, transportation, and handling costs of goods
• Investigate and plan appropriate routes for shipments according to a variety of details including nature of goods, cost, transit time and security measures
• Select carriers according to specific customer requirements, arranging cost-effective, timely transport provisions
• Prepare accurate and appropriate documentation
• Manage & the support the internal transport team to ensure on time delivery
• Budgeting & planning
• Training & development of staff

Requirements of the Logistics Manager

• CPC is desirable
• Proven experience in logistics management
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely
• Experience in working with deadlines is essential
• Managed large teams in a warehouse environment

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
