Job description
Key duties of the role include:
- Within the role you will work within the Recruitment and Assessment team supporting Manchesters pledge and drive to assist with recruitment and retention of carers supporting the sufficiency strategy in keeping children placed locally.
- The role will involve holding case holding responsibility supporting and supervising fostering households.
- You will be actively involved in fostering assessment using Coram Baaf Form f assessment whilst encompassing the secure base model.
- The candidate will also assist with recruitment activity and screening of potential applicant carers.
- This position is held within our Assessment and Recruitment Team for Mainstream foster carers.
- The successful candidate will support the drive of recruitment of foster carers in Manchester and will complete enquiries and initial visits alongside assessment work.
Essential Requirements:
- Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
- At least 2 years' experience as a social worker within children's services
- Social Work England Registration
- Driving license and access to own vehicle
