Customer Assistant - Foods - Through the Night - 27.75 Hours - Temporary

Contract Start/End Dates: 28/05/23 - 24/06/23

Working Pattern:
Week 1:
Sun: 20.00 - 07.00
Wed and Thu: 21.00 - 07.00

Week 2:
Wed and Thu: 21.00 - 07.00
Sat: 20.00 - 07.00

Please Note: If your application is successful, you will be required to attend a mandatory induction of 2 consecutive days at an Induction Hub store. This Induction Hub store may differ from your Base Store, and therefore you may be required to travel. This will be discussed during your interview.

Proposed Induction Dates: Tuesday 30th May 09.30 - 17.00 and Wednesday 31st May 09.00 - 17.45

This job role involves working through the night. This means we can’t consider applications from anyone under the age of 18. This is to comply with the relevant employment legislation and to keep our colleagues safe in the workplace.

  • Serve our customers efficiently and brilliantly well – on the shop floor and at service points
  • Deliver ‘best in town’ standards through presentation standards, availability and keeping the store clean and tidy
  • Skilled to utilise all digital tools and communication channels to do the job
  • Share customer and colleague feedback to help us do things better
  • Share knowledge and experience with colleagues to support others in building skill and confidence
  • Own their own learning & development and proactively access digital learning solutions
  • Know the daily sales targets, priorities, promotions & selling opportunities
  • Have great product knowledge to sell and recommend our products and services
  • Proactively engage with customers to understand their needs and make recommendations
  • Understand the store priorities and their part to play
  • Complete tasks with pace and in line with SOPs
  • Minimise cost and waste through good process practice
  • Follow safe and legal working practices

  • Good level of digital capability and use of digital tools and applications
