An opportunity has arisen for Logistics PFEP Engineer to join our Logistics team in a rapidly expanding and exciting work environment. The role will be instrumental in managing part and packaging data to bring about sustained improvement within core processes. The individual will be instrumental around the development and implementation of a PFEP methodology and business improvement initiatives.
Job role:
- This role requires a methodical professional who will deliver the PFEP data from the MBOM, MRP and data systems. Project manage the development, execution, and maintenance of all elements of the PFEP – Policy, how to guides implementation plans, audits and corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain a process for Change Coordination and Implementation requirements (internal audits, reviews etc.)
- Coordinate with the organisation on certification plans, monitor that demand and usage changes are being correctly recorded and document the required follow up actions.
- Implement process standardisation to maintain change log databases and part revisions are being correctly recorded within the BOM and Kit documents. Run regular PFEP change meetings producing clear ownership tracking. Manage replenishment cycles and delivery control methods.
- Identify cost reduction opportunities in accordance with your Cost Reduction Improvement Plan.
- Provide input to the other functional teams with regards to best practice when designing new systems, layouts and processes.
- Advocate behaviour that encourages all employees to operate in safe work environment
- Develop and implement operational work systems that allow people to keep safe and care for the Ensure risk assessments are completed in accordance with legal & company standards
You’ll have:
- Demonstrable experience in PFEP solution management.
- Previous experience in Material flows/ Logistics is essential.
- Experience in supporting Warehouse/ Tendering activities advantageous.
- Hold extensive understanding in lineside bank methodology.
- Outstanding analytical skills, intellectual curiosity, and attention to detail
- Successful management of cross-functional teams to perform process analysis, improvement, and implementation on a global scale
- Exceptional analytical, creative, technical project management and interpersonal skills
- Tactful communication written and verbal; need to have the ability to create value proposition, develop presentations, and present to executive levels.
- Experience leading by influence, and success in being a driver of change in an organization.
- Demonstrated ability to think creatively, deal with ambiguity, and manage changing priorities. Highly goal and result oriented.
- Prioritizes tasks according to business objectives and can pursue several objectives simultaneously.
- Can work independently with a high degree of self-motivation. Tackles problems with enthusiasm and curiosity. Ability to manage and analyse a situation and develop a professional solution to the organization
- Organized, structured and always have an overview of all the deliverables. Know how to bring multiple projects to a successful ending within the given timeframe.
- Ability to work cross functionally within the site, influencing effectively and overcoming barriers.
