We are now recruiting for an experienced Event Operations and Logistics to join our team, based in Isleworth. We are a supportive, close-knit team who enjoys doing what we do and having a laugh along the way. Everyone is encouraged to be themselves and input into the organisation at all levels.
Working alongside our Workshop and Creative Team, you will be responsible for overseeing the journey of an event - from managing operational requirements, project timelines, resource allocation and logistics, to liaising with key stakeholders. This is a part-time role that will require you to work 2 full days a week (office based), or 4 half days a week (with some flexibility with regards to hybrid working).

In return, we offer a competitive salary (£29,000-£35,000 PRO-RATA, depending on experience), 25 days’ holiday + bank holidays, pension, free parking (but there is great public transport links if you prefer), the potential for flexible hybrid working, and the opportunity for career progression and development.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing and managing the calendar of work for the year, ensuring that all operational and logistics tasks are carried out in a timely manner, according to deadlines
- Assisting in identifying resource pinch points with pipeline and confirmed events
- Liaising with the Workshop team and Creative Lead to look at upcoming work, ensuring that all events are fully resourced, accurately budgeted and scheduled
- Sourcing and booking freelancers for the Workshop and on-site installations
- Management of any resourcing changes
- Briefing and managing external suppliers and stakeholders
- Monitoring the ongoing performance of suppliers and reviewing as necessary
- Booking transport to and from events
- Booking in local crews to load and off-load trucks
- Creating Health and Safety and RAMS documents, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and best practice
- Ordering materials for events when required
- Researching, sourcing and ordering furniture, plants, etc. for event styling
- On-site delivery- sometimes working evenings or weekends as required.
Experience
- Proven experience of working in a similar role in events production or events operations.
- Set-building experience and an interest in event styling will be beneficial.
- Strong project management experience with the ability to problem solve and find solutions
Skills/Qualifications
- Relevant qualification in Events Management is desirable, but is not essential
- Strong understanding of event logistics and operations
- Knowledge and awareness of Health and Safety in the workplace and whilst on site
- Strong organisational and analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good time management skills and the ability to prioritise work
- The ability to work independently, as well as effectively collaborate with the team
- The ability to use initiative and think on your feet to provide effective solutions
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written English communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with a range of people, including clients, suppliers and colleagues
- IT skills such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
